AP Euro and AP Bio for sophomore year?

Hello, I am a sophomore and my current schedule has the following classes (note my school does not have honors classes):
AP Bio
Chemistry
Pre-Calculus
Latin III
World Literature
European History

I am considering moving from European History to AP European History (it is a sophomore requirement to take one or the other), but I am unsure if the course load would be too much since it is known as a difficult class at my school. I am taking AP Bio because I am interested in medicine and science. AP european history has a good teacher and sounds like it is interesting (I loved freshman history, which was taught by the same teacher).

I’d appreciate any thoughts on the courseload and difficulty of taking both classes, and if you would recommend it! Also if anyone has done this before I’d love to hear how it went! Thank you!

Did you take regular bio freshman year? If so, then I would take both APs—otherwise, I would just stick with the current schedule, because AP Bio with no prior knowledge will be rough.

One daughter took AP Euro. It is a very difficult class with TONS of reading. Two AP classes sophomore year is a lot.

How are your grades? How fast a reader are you, and how are you for retention of large volumes of dates and details? How would you feel if your workload doubled from freshman to sophomore year?

@squ1rrel yes i took regular bio freshman year. thank you!
