Anybody know of an estimate?

I know it varies year to year, but i heard that getting a 3 is around 60% on the MC?

thanks alot

i was hoping for a 4....and i really have a good chance according to the scale

From the 2004 test:
80 MC questions total,
1 Required DBQ,
choose one essay out of 3 in Part B
choose one essay out of 3 in Part C

Section 1: _________(Number correct out of 80) - ____(.25xnumber wrong) x 1.1250 = Weighted Section 1 Score.

Section 2:
Question 1: __(out of 9) x 4.5000 =(Do not round)
Question 2: _(out of 9) x 4.5000 =_(Do not round)
Question 3: _(out of 9) x 4.5000 =_____(Do not round)

Composite Score:(Weighted Section I score) + _(Weighted section II score)=___(Composite score rounded to nearest whole number)

Composite Score Range AP Grade
121-180 = 5
99-120 = 4
67-98 = 3
49-66 = 2
0-48 = 1

That's exactly right.

As you can see, you need way less than half the available points just to pass. If only it was like that in school.

ah....the second scale is considerably harder.

still, it is a bit easy to get a good score, especially a 3.
