Ap Euro Help!!

ok so we have a final in 2 weeks, and it is going to be an AP test. this week we're covering chapters 25/26, and 27/28 next week, of the McKay A history of Western Society. Are there any practice AP tests out there? Should I just finish 27/28 outlines this saturday and then read a review book from the beginning. Because we've been really poorly prepared for the test, my teacher does not know anything! She gets her notes from the internet, she can't lecture because she does not know enough.

try picking up REA and doing the practice tests. They are hard but if you know that stuff you will be ready.

And whats with all of the AP Euro threads? The class isnt that bad is it?

It's not bad-- but as a student taking it right now, it is incredibly overwhelming. For me at least, alot of it is entirely new information-- and boy, is there alot of it.

The problem is that everyone thinks that have to remember every person, every treaty, every invention--- when in reality the themes are more important.

Oh, and by the way, my class is using the exact same book-- we are to chapter 26 I believe. Does your teacher hand out the chapter summary things? They have "important" (as in, sometimes entirely random-- like "coitus interuptus") terms, essay questions, and MC questions. If you have those-- review from them.

Oh, and review the end of chapter summaries-- (the sweet italics in each chapter)-- although none of that is specifically AP, it should help.

we're finishing up chapter 25. but we're on the quarter system, which means there is 2.5 weeks left and in that time we're supposed to get to ch 31...not going to happen. And no she doesn't give us those summary things. Any help would be nice. I've never been so frustrated before. APUSH was so much easier because it was one country and we had memorized all the presidents before the class started, Euro has so many countries/rulers/revolutions..with an incompetent teacher it's a nightmare. Otherwise I'm sure it would be fascinating

I took AP European History last year, and I had a really good teacher. She made us answer a bunch of questions about the chapter, which in effect was a detailed summary. With these guides, I got an A+ in the class.

We used the McKay book. If you would like the study guides, please PM me your e-mail address and the chapters you want. And if you have it, send it to other people who need help. Please give due credit if you decide to distribute them to others though.

I took AP Euro a couple of years ago. Go to www.college.hmco.com. They have great stuff: outlines and tests for each chapter, flashcards and tons of reference info. Also, make sure you look at both editions. they are basically the same and sometimes one edition will have more resources than the other.

I really recommend this site!

Good luck!

Thanks so much everyone! you guys are my heros!
