School started about two weeks ago [for me atleast]. Today however we had our first AP European History class. Although starting two weeks late isn't bad, the only reason the school is offering this course is because of strong student protesting. So the school decided to run AP Euro with a new teacher fresh out of college, with no preparation for the AP. We don't have textbooks (because of funding) so our resource is actually the Europe: A History by Norman Davies. Does anyone have a good background of this book, should it be enough for the AP?

um...I would recommend Modern European History by Birdsall S. Viault. That book was so much easier than the book I had to read for ap euro. (The Western Heritage by Kagan)
