ap euro or adv journalism?

im a sophmore.
my next year junior year class schedule is
H. eng 3
AP calc bc
AP bio
AP chem
French 4
and originally, AP Euro

However, i went to my counselor and she told me that i might have a really stressful year
That's why i wanted to take out AP Euro and put in Adv Journalism(4 point class), which would count as extra curric.
So i wanted to know. is a higher GPA better for colleges, or more extra curricular activities? AP euro's rather easy at my school but its time-consuming, so my other grades MIGHT drop if i take it.

thanks!

Which one are you more interested in? I took Euro this year along with 3 other APs, but I went into Euro with a lot of background knowledge and interest, slacked off, and loved the class.

wow, you have an abundance of math/science classes. Are bio and chem single periods? At my school they are 1.5 hour long classes.

I'm taking Euro right now. I suggest that if you have any degree of interest, then by all means take it (thats why i took it). However, if you have no interest, then dont, you'll just bore your self to death.

I agree with the two previous post. I am in AP Euro right now as well. I personally enjoy the class, partly because of the teacher, the students and the class itself. I, however, could do without the war history lol. Honestly, I wouldn't think too much about the levels and the AP tag that goes along with it. Take the class that you feel is better suited for you, take it for the class, not the AP. Thats the best advice I can give, really it is up to you, you are the one that has to actually take the classes, not us.
