i’m currently picking classes for next year and i can take AP Euro or AP Bio, or both.
i enjoy both science and history and i’d like to take one of them.
i just took biology and i plan on taking the class sometime in high school, should i take it next year?
ap euro looks interesting, but i’ve seen so many people talk about how bad it is.
what is the course load like in ap bio and ap euro?
my schedule looks like this so far:
Honors US I
Honors English II
Honors Chemistry (i can take ap bio concurrent)
Accelerated Geometry
Honors Accounting (can be replaced with one of the ap’s)
Spanish II Honors
@Much2learn
i’m currently a freshman.
the schedule at the bottom of my post is my hopeful schedule for next year.
when i take honors chemistry next year, i am automatically placed in a mandatory study hall which is a couple times a week.
Euro and bio are both fun classes. Both pretty demanding course work wise. If you have lots of other commitments time wise you’re probably better off doing just one this year. However if you enjoy both and have the time doing both could be very beneficial
I wouldn’t take either AP Euro or AP Bio as a freshman.
Did you take High School Biology Honors?
Is there a way for you to take AP Human Geography (which is designed as a gateway to AP class for freshmen and sophomores)? Or AP Psych, which is a bit easier than either Bio or Euro?
Ok, thanks.
Both AP Bio and AP Euro are among the hardest AP’s. So, talk with your current Bio teacher and your current History teacher, and ask them whether they think your current level of mastery both for skills and content would make getting a B or higher likely.
