Anyone who's taken the exam and used the Princeton Review to study, is it enough or should I revisit my textbook from school?

And any other advice for the exam would be greatly appreciated. :D

I’m curious too. I’m choosing a book to study tonight and curious if I should use that or another brand like Barrons or something.

It leaves a couple of things out, but it’s a good overarching review and pretty concisely written.

I used Princeton Review and got a 5.

I also used Wikipedia (no lie) to supplement areas where I felt particularly weak–i.e. 30 Years War, 7 Years War, etc.

Seemed to work pretty well for me. Keep in mind also that I had a pretty solid grasp of the course going into studying. My studying really was review and re-learning, not learning new things–I had a very good teacher.

I have a VERY good teacher, but am unsure about early areas, primarily the Wars of Religion, I do well in AP Euro, I’m unsure if getting a prep book is worth it, I’m super poor, plus I have 4 EOCTs (end of course tests) and the AP U.S. Gov exam in the same timeframe, not to mention an Honors American Lit. research paper I haven’t even outloned… Worth it or not? If so, which book do you find the best? Also, which book’s best for AP Gov? Thanks in advance.

I think that if you’re trying to save up money it may not be 100% worth it. The AP is on May 6th, and I’ve been studying using the Princeton Review book for 2 weeks so far, and am almost done. But what’s also really, really helped me is downloading podcasts from iTunes…just click store then search AP Euro. They’re all free, and I usually listen to them, and then read the Princeton Review book. But listening to the podcasts and reading Wikipedia is probably about the same depth. Good luck!

^Agreed, I’ve been doing the same thing. The podcasts help so unbelievably much.

Thanks so much!!! Best of luck in all you do!

Hank’s History Hour is the best. It’s free; search for it on iTunes.
