@Zombie- aren’t you a sophomore? Taking Euro as a sophomore I’d imagine is hard. I think I remember you from posting on the Euro and Psych study threads before the test. How do you think you did on Psych? </p>
Also, I had a REALLY tough teacher for Euro! No one has ever gotten an A in the class. All 3 of us in the class this year have Bs.</p>

Hey I got a 3 on English Lit as a senior here, and I’m mad at that too because now I have to take an English course in college. A 3 isn’t so bad as a sophomore- was it your first AP test? </p>
I wouldn’t cancel it yet. You’re a sophomore, so who knows where you’ll go to college- they may accept a 3, unless you have already decided you’re only applying to highly selective colleges, in which a 3 won’t be accepted for credit. </p>
Plus, you usually only need 1 history course for general education credit, so if you ever take the APUSH or World History AP exams and get a 4 or 5, then Euro won’t matter anymore.</p>
no i took AP Human Geography freshman year and got a 3 because i was super nervous (but i’m retaking it in junior year because i know i could have gotten a 5.) And when you say yet, does that mean i can cancel it whenever i want without it making a difference? oh thank god; i’m taking APUSH junior year.</p>
I think 3 is great for a freshman; my high school didn’t even allow freshman to take AP. I got a 4 on US Gov as a sophomore, with a bad teacher but a lot of studying on my own.</p>
I think you have a while to cancel, but I’m not sure of a specific time. There has been some confusion as to when on some other threads, and it just left me more confused! Search on the College Board website and find out I guess.</p>
And yeah, APUSH should cover your history general education requirement most likely. That of course depends on what college you go to, but in general, it should be fine.</p>
I got a 4 on APUSH last year, so Euro didn’t even matter for gen ed. Now, it turns out neither matter for gen ed because I decided to also major in history as part of a double degree program with music, so neither of them count anyways when you’re majoring in the subject.</p>
I really want to get a 5, and I think I did, but I’m not the one who’ll call. Don’t feel bad, I got a 3 in AP World in freshman year (last year). It was the MC that saved me, since, under pressure, I misread ALL three essays, so I bombed those. Anyways, I tried to not make the mistake in this past sophomore year, so we’ll see how it turned out…</p>
@iluvpiano Yeah I’m a sophomore. My school requires all of us to take AP Euro (which is our fist AP). And the teacher is REALLY HARD!!! Also yeah I took Psych and Human Geo. I honestly think I got 1 on Psych 2 on Euro and POSSIBLY a 3 on Human Geo. :’( ■■■!!!</p>

First AP Exam of High School, I’m really happy with this score!! Was the only one of my class of 15 to call in, I’m super impatient and couldn’t have waited a couple more weeks.</p>
Last year I got a four and saw one of my essays as a sample LOL.</p>
^ Last year I got a 4 but I refused to let College Board use my essays because I thought I was going to get a 2. :D</p>
^ Haha that’s what I did this year. I have NO idea what I got yet, but, in case of failure, I didn’t want to be mocked by College Board :D</p>
I’ve always said they could use my essays on any AP exam, but I’ve never seen them on there. They probably won’t pick mine anyways…I mean, what’s the chance that they’d pick that from 1000s of students?</p>

Yeah I was scared too. I expected a 4, but could see it going to a 3 and barely missing it or to a 5…depending on the essays. You never know what kind of essay grader you’re going to get! I hadn’t written an AP FRQ or DBQ for Euro all year, so I wasn’t sure. We had essays on our tests, but not from past AP FRQs or DBQs or anything, just other random essay questions. I hadn’t done a DBQ since the APUSH exam last year.</p>
