i'm currently a freshman, and i plan on taking AP euro next year
are there any tips to help prepare or better handle the class? everyone i talk to says the class is pretty difficult (i know a lot of this depends on which school, but any general tips would help so much!)

It’s one of the most material-heavy courses there is, no doubt about that, however, it’s (in my opinion) incredibly interesting and quite fun. It’s all in the teacher though, to be honest. Our teacher makes the class intensive more than it is hard. All of the skills needed for writing both types of essays are taught and obviously the history is too. If you can stand tests that span 3 days on a triweekly basis, quizzes once a week, one 6 page paper per semester, a lot of reading, miscellaneous homework and required making of note cards, you’d be fine at my school. I love the class and would STRONGLY recommend it to anyone with the time and mental capacity. I suppose it’s all in the teacher, but this is my experience, and it’s also all I can offer you. Well, if you can think of any dpecific questions or whatever, PM me, or for any reason lol, chances are I’m here. Best wishes Angel.

My APUSH teacher told us that if we want any shred of a life next year not to take it. I took her advice, but good luck.

I’m a sophomore and taking Euro now. Honestly I love the class because my teacher is so amazing. But it’s not too hard…it’s a lot of reading but probably like 5 hours a week of homework, and 2 of studying. So it’s not too bad. The information is really interesting. But it depends on what you’re taking now, and how you’re doing in school, and what other classes are you taking next year? If you have a heavy schedule next year and you don’t like history, then don’t take it. But if you don’t have too heavy of a schedule (which I doubt because you’re on CC) and you hate history, then absolutely don’t take it. But don’t be too worried about the workload. I’m actually just starting to study for the AP now…it’s 2 weeks from tomorrow!!! :)
