Who was that guy on the MC that came to power in Florence? I don’t recall ever leaning anything 'bout him.

Savonarola. I’m not sure what the answer was though.
I chose the rejection of materialism.

Art history in fact helped me a lot! I had practiced a Romanticism essay in Euro which helped in the Art History exam and now Art History helped me with the FRQ question for the Euro exam. Awesome (:

I am so jealous that many of you guys actually took the course. My school doesn’t offer that I just BS thru the Euro test this afternoon.

For the last couples of questions of MC, what did you guys put for the post 1991 Soviet Union economy?

I didn’t realize until I started writing the FRQs that I had no idea how to write them, hahaha. My teacher was really good but he didn’t teach to the test at all and I hadn’t studied, so I didn’t know if they were supposed to be multiple paragraphs or what… Is it okay if I did them with an intro paragraph, 2-3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion?

pretty easy! loved the dbq, easy to see POVs in feminists.

did anyone do the first FRQ w/ technology and state power? I focused on exploration/printing press…

@diana

That’s the exactly the way you should do it. :)

^ I did the first FRQ too!

I talked about the printing press, Galileo/Copernicus, and improved transportation

whew, good. I felt like I had to stretch a tad to connect the printing press, lol.

the hitler FRQ was a piece of cake, though I spent a bit talking about the context and what happened before 1933. oh well :)

( wait, how is Galileo a piece of technology? lol)

The multiple choice was ridiculous for me.

The DBQ was really easy. It basically was a European gilded age topic so once APUSH was done I had a smile on my face for the DBQ for Euro.

I also did 4 and 6 but my essays were horrible. I got a 4 probably

I self-studied and bs-ed my way through the exam, and I thought:

DBQ=Easy
FRQ=Easy
MCQ=Moderate

For the medicine book one, what’d u guys get?

[Andreas Vesalius - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Andreas Vesalius - Wikipedia) fixed Galen’s medicine work

Weird MC - a lot of knowledge based Q’s that you either knew or didn’t. I thought the DBQ was easy and the FR was ok

Yay the test is finally over!

Multiple choice was super easy, everyone in my class (which is mostly made up of C students) thought it was easy too.

DBQ was relatively easy, I just had a small issue with grouping at first.

I did 4 and 6 for my FRQs. I knew the French Revolution and Napoleonic era very well and I dropped a lot of names, events, documents, dates, etc. #6 was hard for me since I made it way too general and didn’t know much about world war II.

Overall, I think I got 65/80 on mc, 8 on dbq, 9 on frq #4, and maybe a 4 on frq #6.

But that still is plenty enough to get a 5.

Also, to add to the multiple choice discussion. I am pretty sure that one picture was not about the dutch since they were pretty religiously tolerant, but I could be wrong.

Also, the medicine book question was Vesalius.

YES THANK GOD I was between Vesalius and Harvey and arbitrarily chose Vesalius. I seemed to get really lucky with the guessing this time…

I didn’t know the answers to any questions about women -_-

Dutch → Calvinism → No statues?

echoyjeff22, Galileo obviously isn’t a piece of technology, but his creation/improvement of the telescope was, and I argued that the telescope allowed the ideas of the Church to be questioned, weakening the Church and allowing the State to fill in the power vacuum that the lack of a belief in the Church caused.

Hm interesting. I was just trying to avoid going down the hole of admitting that the printing press actually promoted more freedom of speech and deteriorated the state’s power, hehe.

I was going to put Galileo, but then i realized that his prime was after 1600. so i talked only about Copernicus (btw, i thought i was the only person that said something about the printing press, it felt like a wild idea at the time lol)

Guys how much outside info do we need to include in the DBQ to get a good score (7, 8, or 9). I didn’t really have much, just a couple things like Luddites, Iron Law of Wages, etc (1 or 2 things like that per body paragraph)

You don’t. DBQ for AP Euro is so much easier than APUSH just because you don’t need ANY outside info for a high score, lol! You should be fine as long you as you categorized into 3 groups and also talked about POV 3+ times.
