AP European History

Hey Guys!
There was a little test at my school for all the freshman in order for them to take AP Euro. You needed a 13 out of 20 to get the class sign-off but I got a 10. I could still take the class if there’s room next year. This is the only ap available to 10th graders. If I don’t take the class, does it put me at a disadvantage when I’m applying to prestigious universities? I’m planning on taking a very heavy courseload 11th and 12th grade. If I don’t get the class, should I just self-study and still take the AP test?

Thanks

Look, there’s no reason to wig out. You are a freshman, for heaven’s sake, so don’t obsess about your class schedule for your sophomore year.

Not taking this AP course won’t make or break your college applications, so just chill about it. And there is no need to self-study and take the AP test; you will only unnecessarily add to your stress level, and you probably will end up wasting the money it costs to take the test.

Just take a deep breath, and relax.
