AP European History

Hey~hey~hey! My school doesn't have AP European history, but I can still take the test at another school, but I was just wondering if it is an easy self-study course, and if it is, what are some good textbooks to go by? Thankyou for the help in advance.

its not bad to self study. You need to learn how to write DBQ's in Euro format(unless you have had world) and do some heavy reading. Get Modern European History, PR, and REA and you should be set.

lol I have the same question except about AP Art History, my school offers it but I want tknow if its eas to self-study.

About AP European History, I will be taking it next year, and the textbook we are using is called "Western Civilization Since 1300"
Hope that helps.

AP Art history is not a self study course. There are no real prep books for the course.

Thanks for asking this question; I was thinking about doing the same thing next year. The selection of APs at my school (Calc AB, Lit/Lang, Stats, Chem, and A-PUS as I like to call it) is depressing.

Also, thanks to all those who answered!

Get A History of Western Society and the companion study guide. Read the book, do the study guides, and you shall be set. It's all I used and I got a 4. Learn to write DBQs and FRQs (these can be your typical 5 paragraph essay) well for that's what sunk me.

Yeah, I was also thinking about self-studying AP Euro History. I had checked out a AP Euro test review book and i realized that I knew over 60% of the multiple-choice already. The test review books are pretty good because they offer reviews of the material and how they could be put into a test situation.

Hey~! Thanks for all the help. I was just also wondering if anyone knew any good books for Wolrd History AP and Human Geography AP and if there easy to self study. Thanks.
