AP Exams

This year, as a sophomore, I took AP Chemistry and AP World History. I dropped AP Chemistry after the first term because I got a D. I had received all A's up until that point, so I never took the AP Exam for it. But in AP World History, I got a C+ first semester because of the final exam, but second semester I got an A+. I was confident that I did well on the AP Exam. And today, I found out that I got a 1. I was so ashamed. I am hoping to go to college and major in Agricultural Education. Will this 1 affect my chances? I currently have a 3.7 GPA, and am registered for APUSH and AP Statistics next year.

A 1 on an AP test won’t hurt you very bad… I would be more worried about the D and C+ on your transcript, those make a much larger difference. Most colelges put little weight towards your AP scores

I think I may get a rescore. Does anyone know if this helps?

You don’t have to submit your AP exam scores if you don’t want to, and I would suggest not submitting scores below 3. Colleges will still see the AP classes on your transcript.
