Ap Exams

Does anyone know if it is required for us to send our AP Exam results? and if we DO send it....does that mean we have to use the credit?

Thanks a lot!

You do not have to send them and you do not have to use the credit.

why wouldnt you want to use the credit?

thanks! initially, i thought we had to since i reported that i took AP courses on my transcript so i assumed the UW would be asking for my exam marks...

also, i heard some ppls offers got rescinded if they did badly on the ap exam...i dunno about UW.....i was trying to find that info on the website.

I've never heard of admissions being rescinded for a poor score on the AP exam. It's not like you're dropping the AP class....the fact that you are taking it in the 1st place is important to them. Worst thing is that you don't get credit for a UW course. Where did you hear of this??

hey have a question im taking the ap physics exam on monday but i have to take physics again n ewayz in college so the credit i'd get realli doesnt matter...but could i use the credit to fill in for n e other area?

yea i dont ur offer of addmissions would be rescinded for a bad ap exam score either.

Bball, you can use that physics score for placement into a harder class. For instance, with the BC Calc, a score of 5 (or 4 too I think) will place you out of math 124 and 125, leaving you open to take 126, which includes an introduction into multivariable calc.

ooh okay thanx...hmm harder physics class..uhh not so sure thats a good idea for me hahah.

Anybody know when our AP credit should be showing up on our Unofficial Transcrips. Its sad looking at it with 0 0 0 0 all over the board :(

As I recall, it took a long time for the AP results to post last year. Sometime in July, maybe.
