Heyy. I kind of need some advice. I payed for my AP exam in November and my exam is in 2 days. I was checking my college board account cause I needed my e-ticket and it didn’t come yet. I was looking some more and it said I was not registered to take any exam. I emailed my teacher right away and in the morning he told me I actually did not register and so now I can’t take my test anymore. My heart literally sank, I cried, and I’ve been feeling down all day. Now, I have to tell my parents. I literally don’t know how. I really need some good advice on how to tell them cause I KNOW they are going to be mad. Honestly this is kind of me ranting right now cause I just need some type of comfort from someone.
I know it must suck, but if you’re not a senior, you can just take it next year. Honestly, just tell them asap, and don’t try and shift the blame off yourself. They’ll appreciate the honestly and that you’re taking responsibility for your own actions.

okay, thanks for the advice. I’m a sophomore so if I don’t take the exam this year, does it hurt my chances of getting into colleges?
Colleges don’t consider AP exam scores in admission.
Where did your money go? You should get that back.
Yeah, I’m getting the money refunded. It still sucks knowing how easy this year’s AP Exams are than the regular format.
A lot of people are having technical issues in terms of things like uploading photo/ID in the middle of the test and having the whole system crash. Really not worth sweating this.
Yeah, I’ve heard a lot about that. I really don’t know why CollegeBoard still kept the exams. Everyone I know is going to cheat on this test in some form.
