AP exams

As a undergrad in L&S, is there any point in taking AP tests? (Im planning to take Stats, Lit + Comp, Macro, and Gov). Since these courses do not fulfill the breadth courses anyways, is there another thing which these course fulfill? Thanks.

It depends on your major I think. Some majors allow you to use certain AP tests, and others don’t.

As far as Lit. goes, if you get a 5 you test out of Reading and Composition A and B. If you get a 4 you test out of A only.

And if you get 3,4, or 5 on Stats, you test out of the general math requirement for all majors in LS. but most people already do this through their SAT scores anyways.

Do you know if any my exams (calc ab, physics B) and the ones mentioned previously will help with pre-business/economics?

I don’t really know about business. It’s sort of in its own category with pre-reqs and things. I’d look up it up on the Haas website. I think they would have it there somewhere.

I checked the Haas site but they only gave credits for a few AP exams.

I highly doubt they will give us credit for macro alone. Just my personal guess.
