AP Field Trips

Are any of you going on field trips in your AP classes this year? Any field trips that the AP class is going on but the regular class isn't?
My AP Bio class is going to the UW-Seattle Botany greenhouse and health sciences center. To be honest, I think the botany greenhouse is just for my teacher's entertainment- she loves plants, and majored in botany in college!

My AP World class is probably going to go to DC in the spring if we have time and the school approves it. The dad of one of the students in my class is friends with an ambassador and we might get to meet him while in Washington.

No. :frowning:
I think we’re getting T-shirts for AP Bio, though. Can’t decide if it’s weird or not.

We went to to the local movie theatre and watched Lincoln.

A few years back, the APUSH classes went to Central Park!

^Lincoln makes a great movie for APUSH
AP Biology has gone to the zoo, past years AP Economics has gone to the federal reserve bank.

Not many examples of European history in California so nope.

Last year the school’s APUSH class went to Washington… I somewhat still regret taking APWorld over APUSH.

AP Physics usually goes to Six Flags Magic Mountain, but now that we’re getting a new teacher it might not happen. :(

Not AP, but for Honors Physics, we’re planning an overnight trip to one of the accelerator labs (Fermi, SLAC, or another).

@halcyonheather My Ap Lang class gets tshirts! We vote on a rhetorical motto at the end of the year!

AP Calculus may go to Calculus camp up north in March or April.
