<p>I took AP German and I imagine it’s probably standard protocol for all of them; I think you need the CD player only for SAT IIs. It was provided when I took the AP German test, and I would therefore expect it to be provided to you for the AP French test. You can always bring one just in case if you’re not sure and check with the proctor beforehand (if it’s not needed, if it’s not a lot of people testing, they might even keep it for you during the test - I brought a German language review book in and they stored it for me).</p>
