I searched the forum and all i found was that the barrons book sucks. are there any other suggestions for a AP french language prep book? my ap class doesnt do anything at all, we watch movies almost every class.

i'm independently preparing for the AP french exam and i would suggest doing a quick search on amazon for AP french study guides. I can't remember the name of the product but I found something rather interesting I think it's called a "Power pack" (I may be confusing this with something I just purchased for AP lit) but in any event that's a good place to start and see what else is out there. For me at least, there's a much better selection than is in the stores here...most kids take Spanish and AP is a mostly foreign concept to my locale so I have to go looking for this stuff on my own too. if you have any interest in practicing your french through email then let me know. it can't hurt. well i hope that helped somewhat. bonne chance et bon courage!

Wow, your french class sounds fun :) . We work really hard, and are currently preparing by taking the official tests. You can look off that collegeboard website for that stuff if you want. For grammar, we use the Arco advanced "cours superieurs" book. Hm...I bought the Barrons books just to study by myself. I think it's okay--sorry if this isn't much help much ... mal PT! (merde a la puissance treize, good luck in slang)

Try ordering some material from infrench.com--comes from Quebec and they give really good service.
