I will be taking AP French next year but I feel like I need to prepare some over the summer to be ready for it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might want to study or what book(s) I should get for this summer? Thanks in advance.

Ditto. I will be taking AP French next year as well. Could someone please recommend suggestions for preparation over the summer? Thanks.

I'd like to know as well. For now, I'm planning to work on vocab (which I also will need for the SAT II), and read some short stories and stuff in French.

Anddddddddd I'll be spending two weeks in Paris with my family! :D :D :D :D :D

So while interpreting for them, I'll definitely get some practice speaking in.

Hm..Last year I went to France for two weeks..but not this year. I really don't know how to work on my grammar. I've bought a grammar book which I will be working on .. but other than that I have absolutely no idea.

What kind of grammar stuff in particular is the toughest/most prevalent on the AP test?

Hm..I think it depends. Some people say that subjunctive is hardest for them..but for me, it's the conditional/future/imperfect tense that gets me mixed up. Not when they are used separately, but when they are used TOGETHER. It kills me when that happens..eergh. Relative pronouns can also be tough..

Btw, do you know how I can improve my writing skills?

Ahh, we spent massive amounts of time this year on the huit regles du subjonctif as my teacher called them. haha

Yeah, those conditional/imperfect clause things are really annoying. I can never seem to remember them... especially the si and quand ones.
