Can anyone who is taking or has taken AP french let me know about the challenge of the class? If I could speak conversational french and read it, will it be an easy class if I have not taken french 1, 2, or 3?

If they are all easy for you, then you may be beyond AP 5 level.
Otherwise, you may have to ask the French teachers at your school to determine the proper placement in French courses. Perhaps also try the French 3 final exam as well.
