Many people said these are among the easiest APs.
But I heard that relatively few people get 5s on these, especially on Environmental Science, because there are lots of things to memorize.
Are these easy to self-study and get 5s?
I noticed there aren't good enough prep books for these two subjects.
If these were to be self-studied, what books are good?

The Enviro Sci teacher at my school says few people get 5s because the graders are really picky on the free-response.

Then why are many people saying Enviro Sci is easy?

Well, it's not that the exams are hard to get 5s on, its just that there are not many 5s on those exams because those are APs that less qualified AP students take, or simply put, less smart people I guess take those classes, therefore do poorly on the AP exam. I am sure that if you had people in AP Calculus and AP Physics C and AP Chemistry, they would mostly likely pass...

It's true. If you look at the percent of students that get 5s on exams like Calculus BC, you will be pretty surprised. Over 35% of test-takers get this score! This doesn't mean that the test is easy, it just means that a lot of Math Wizzes take it.
