What books are good for studying for those tests? princeton review? barron's?

To my knowledege, none of the major test-prep companies has a book for Comparative Gov't; although I've heard that Ethel Wood's study guide is terrific, I'm not quite sure if there's an updated version for the alterations made to the exam.
However, since I'm self-studying the US Gov't exam, I purchased the Princeton Review book, and it is concise yet informative and very accurate- unlike Barron's, which bombards you with superfluous information and has practice questions that often do NOT reflect those on the real test. PR is your best bet- hope this helps.

what review book can i use 2 study for comparative....i need 2 study 4 a developing country nigeria, mexico, iran

I highly recommend Ken Wedding's book for comparative government.

I've got a question-- is it worth spending the $80 this year to take Comp Gov and probably get a 5 through self-study, or wait until next year when I would get it free, (for taking US Gov) but have way less time to study and not do as well. (Next year, I'm already planning to take Calc, Lang and Comp, Chem, US Gov, and Macro/Micro Econ-- that's already 6 tests.) Thoughts??

comp gov doesnt come free with US gov anymore.

No? Well then that makes my life easier.
