I am a sophomore and I am currently taking 3 ap’s (World, Psych, Macro) should I take a 4th on FLVS: AP Government & Politics? Is it too difficult? Can I finish the work/understand it in 5 months before the exam?

Most FLVS AP classes are good. AP Government is not. Stay away at all costs unless you want to struggle through quizzes based on reading a thick and monotonous textbook and absorbing its details. The class does nothing to prepare you for the AP exam, and I’m surprised it still exists in this fashion. Since you’re taking macro, I think you should sign up for AP Micro instead. It’s a much better class, and your macro knowledge will make it even easier than it already is.

Stay away from AP Gov on FLVS.

I really couldn’t disagree more. I took both AP Gov and AP Micro in the same year through FLVS. Micro was not for me. Government is a better preparation, however, the textbook quizzes are kind of ridiculous. I ended up receiving a 4 on Gov and 2 on Micro. Yet, most colleges will give you more credit for Micro than Gov. Take whichever one you wish. They’re both about the same.
