or both?
or neither?

Which are you more interested in?

theyre two good classes to take together, i would recomend it. I had both classes for the past year and i don't regret it.

If you're equally interested in both classes, take gov.

if you have to choose one... Government has more abstract concepts that require some more thinking. Econ is much more concrete, and to me, an easier class. Even though i got a higher grade in ap govt.... how odd

both (10 chars)

I took CIS Econ this year, as did most of my peers, partly because we didn't want to pile another AP test onto our load but we did want college credit. Next year they're offering AP Econ with Micro for half the year and Macro for the other half, which kinda sucks cause by May you've probably forgotten everything from the first semester, since you don't really use it that much in the second half of the year. Plus that's 2 AP tests. Yuck! We ended up having a sucky teacher and wishing we'd done Gov. It's your choice, but you might want to go on the College Board's website and check out the specific things covered in each course to see which is more interesting. Imo, econ is super boring...who wants to graph supply and demand lines all the time??? I guess I've learned some things, but I'd drop it in a second if I didn't need the social studies credits. Who teaches it is very important. Talk to the current students in both classes and find out how the teachers are, how they like it, etc.

NO TAKE AP ECON i love economics. actually thats a horrible reason for you to take course ... but hey, it would be nice if you listened :D

Do both. Taking both this year, I liked gov. more, but econ is interesting as well. Two good classes to have in your life. Definitely see the world a little differently thanks to these classes.
