By any chance is there a way to take an AP test without necessarily having the class? I am wondering because my school does not offer psychology or some other APs and I really want to try and get a 5 without the course. If there is a chance to take a test without the class, would it be at another school?

You can self study for it using a book or books or divine intervention. And you should be able to request to be tested at your school.

Independent study should be okay, and I'm sure there will be teacher who can advise you. Don't attempt to teach a history class to yourself, if I may add one bit of advice. It's too detailed.

Hey, I am doing the same thing with my AP art portfolio, except I took the class last year (it was only my second art class so I needed another year to pull my portfolio together.) We also had a kid that took AP World Civ last year, a class that isn't offered at our school. He was given the test in the library the same time we took our APUSH, so I know for a fact that you can request them. Hope everything works out well! : )

Is it too late for me to sign up for another AP test? (not taking class, thinking of self studying)

Thank you all for telling me..hopfully i can self study someting and get a 5!
