Do universities care if you pass your AP exam??

As a senior? No. However, if you perform poorly in pre-senior year AP tests, it can diminish the impact of your AP classes. Remember, your senior year AP tests come out WAY past your admit decisions

You aren’t even required to send in your AP test scores. You may also send in selective ones, although that may or may not be advisable, depending on the school. In general, your grade in the class is far more important, but a good test score helps back up the grade and at the very best schools, top AP scores (4 or 5) are almost a must.
