AP Human Geo

Not sure if there's already thread for this, too tired to look.

What are you guys doing to memorize the examples?

Uhh I just read Barron’s a few times and Princeton Review and got them down.

The best thing you can do for an APHUG (awesome eh?) exam is get your vocab. down. Read Kaplan, take a few practice tests, write a bunch of free response essays, and you’re golden. My teacher gave us ten minutes in class to write free response questions, by the time we got to the test we had all finished the test about 45 minutes early, most of scoring fives. I cannot stress how crucial vocab. is, and expect ANYTHING on the FRQ sections, last year we had one on Dairy Farming. Best of Luck!

^Ya it’s insane how random some of the past essays have been. Hopefully we get easy ones. I’ve been getting around 60-65/75 on the multiple choice so hopefully I’m set for a 5. I have a feeling the actual multiple choice will be much easier than the practice tests in PR, too. Barron’s is easy though.

Just finished IB Geography Paper 1 and Paper 2…

I think prepping for IB has helped with prepping for AP, except I need to brush up on some more human Geography topics, as IB was a mix of human and physical.

I went through and read and took notes on Princeton Review and read Barron’s 2 times. Compared to AP US how much easier is APHuG bc I feel like I barely know anything AT ALL about APHuG compared to how much I knew about APUSH…so is it a much easier test? Or am I unprepared?

^ oh forgot to mention that I am self-studying it
