AP Human Geo...?

Hey guys. For an elective this year, I was debating between Robotics and Human Geography AP. I chose Human Geo AP because it caters very well to my interests and appealed to me more than Robotics. I was excited to take the class... until I learned that most consider it to be an 'easy' AP taken for the 'easy 5' on the AP test. Do you think colleges will think this when they see it on my transcript for junior year? I'm also taking English Language AP and APUSH, so my schedule isn't 'light' at all (in the context of my HS), but I just wanted an opinion on this class specifically. Help? :)

no, its good. As long as you enjoy the class, it will be absolutely fine.

Colleges don’t really care how easy an AP test is, half of them don’t even ask for official score reports on the ap test, which makes the A in an AP class perfectly good enough to them.

Take Ap human geo, looks like my school’s weird scheduling this year will force me to self study micro and take AP human geo in its place. Haha, good luck to you.

Human geography is a really good course. It is really helpful. I really didn’t think it as a “easy ap.” The test was kinda of hard I had to say, but I didn’t really read the whole book, so I just got a 4. But I think if you really understand it would give you a 5.

Thanks guys. I’m excited again (:D), lol.

Yeah, the subject matter is fascinating, and geography and sociology are both interests of mine, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Human Geography is a very interesting subject.

^I definitely agree.

Our textbook is fascinating. We’re starting off with cartography and the like, which although my classmates find a bit dull, I’m riveted by. Of course, once we get into the ‘human’ part it should become more exciting. But yes, it really is the most interesting course my school offers with perhaps the exception of East Asian Studies, which I’ll be taking next year as a senior.
