I thought the MC was fairly easy especially in comparison to some of the practice tests I took in class. And the FRQ’s wern’t bad since they weren’t based on like one particular person or model.

To answer your question, I’ve found that some colleges, mostly large public universities take APHG but a lot of the private schools don’t. Idk if it’s because APGH is still a newer class or if it’s not seen as legit as the others because I def think it’s one of the easiest AP’s.

yeah…i didn’t think the test was too bad…but then again…i don’t wanna say anything until i find out my score…:)

Anyone else surprised about the survey questions?

I wasn’t expecting them and it seems like the collegeboard is thinking about getting rid of Human Geo rofl

in the last essay, i made a VERY stupid and embarrasing mistake. also, in the first FRQ part A, i had NO IDEA what the things were. i made some bad guesses and then expanded on the one that i actually knew, thank god. lol MC was decent, the other essays i did extremely well on i think (besides the previously mentioned mistakes)

lmao they should get rid of human geo, its so easy! its just basic sense concepts. ive learned pretty much nothing that i haven’t already figured out from world history

for the second frq…i forgot it totally…but was able to make smt. up that i’m pretty sure fit…lol…and i made up an educated guess for a little of the first…but otherwise…it was alright…

man, for the first part, total bs. i KNOW that its wrong. as we were walking out of the room after the test everybody was voicing their guesses and NONE of us had any idea

lol…i think i might have gotten like 1/3rd of it right…cross my fingers…

Was there two sections to the survey questions?

I remember answering like the first two survey questions and since I self-studied, it exempted me from the rest. However, seemed like there might have been a section II survey part as well, but I didn’t do it.

No, Swaggerer.

i have no idea how the self study test works, but for the normal test it was three essay questions, all together.

I freaked out when I saw 87 questions. But it was just survey. Are they thinking of getting rid of it because it’s such a joke and everyone self studies? (Plus many colleges don’t even accept it)

I mixed up 1/3 of one of the FRQ questions (I think you guys can figure out what I mean).

Other than that there were maybe 10 MC I was 50/50 on and the rest of the FRQ was simple.

Overall, the FR was sooo easy despite 1 question. The MC was decent even though some questions were very specific. Even then, with the curve being so nice, at least 80% on the FR, I’d need a 40% to still be in the range for a 5 lol. So I’m pretty sure I rocked it.

I would like to remind people that your really not suppose to discuss the questions. I’m not going to risk it, but I will def. contribute to the discussion 2 days from now. I certainly did not waste my hard work for nothing.

guys what are the ranges for a 4 and a 5? thanks

according to the consolidated curves for AP exams

a 5 is 58.33%…seems lenient as the thread says…
hope its true

^Hope so too. I feel I nailed the essays, but the MC… I don’t know.

^ wait, but i heard that curve was given in 2001. about 3,000 students took it then…29,000 students take it now. is the curve still that lenient? hopefully.
