FOR REFERENCE: AP Central - Summary of Changes to the 2010-11 AP Human Geography Course Description

I plan on self-studying AP Human Geography this coming school year, and recently came upon this link. Will these new changes to the curriculum of AP HuG affect self-studying methods?

EX: Most people simply read through the Barron's to self-study for the previous AP HuG exams. However, the newest edition of Barron's was published in 2010. Will a new edition be released in order to cover this new material?

Thanks in advanced.

I’m pretty sure every major book company will release new material to reflect the changes on the exam.

You just have to wait for the revised review books to come.

Any predictions for when the revised editions hit the bookstores?

Just make sure you don’t buy an old prep book and you’ll be fine. That sucks for you, though. I got my old version of Barron’s for the low. :P

So I guess no one really knows yet, then? :O

You’ll be fine; I see maybe two things on that list that weren’t in my 2009 version of Barrons-- New Urbanism and the Millennium Goals thing. I self-studied, and although I found that Barrons was sufficient enough, others thought that it would be better supplemented with PR.
