AP Human Geography Curve

Does anyone know what the Human Geography curve looks like? I've tried searching everywhere, but no one seems to know.

Thanks.

the curves for ap are not released…i think. i remember looking on cb and it said that there was some equation they used that won’t be disclosed

Not released yet. Generally 70+ is a 5.

Dont worry its really easy, i took it last year and got a 5. Its probably easier than world history.

@joker, what kind of prep did you have? Did you take the class or just self study…or take it cold

So worst case, a 70% is a 5, and a 60% is a 4 (similar to the APCS AB test)?

I got a 5 in ninth grade, studied by reading a prep book for two weeks before the test. The class at school was really nice, but honestly it wasn’t necessary for the test at all. It really just tests your ability to synthesize information given some basic knowledge (which the prep books contain). My essays were very short, but used relevant examples that showed that I fully understood the prompts.

If you know your vocab, and can think in the right way (you don’t have to be a genius), the multiple choice is really easy. Also, memorize all of the models (like the Von Thunen).

Well i dont buy any of the prep books i thinnk they are a waste of time and money. Best advise KNOW the material, naturally like not just a certain question. Your book has a the material just quickly review it.

Ohh i took the class but like Lockn said it was unnecessary, i mean really, who does not know that european cities are more dense than american cities?
The thing is that im really good at Social sciences, if you are too then dont worry about it. I took the World history and American history SAT II and passed them with really good scores so yeah.
