AP Human Geography, Gov or Economics

Out of AP Human Geography, AP Government and Politics, and AP Economics, which two are the easiest? Smallest workload? Easiest exam? Next year I need the best GPA I can get and can only fit two of the three in to my schedule.

Easiest -> Hardest/Easiest Workload/Easiest Exam:

AP Human Geography
AP Economics and AP Government and Politics

Take AP HUG and just decide which other one you want to take. I suggest AP Economics as it will be two AP’s and you will win more AP awards

Don’t take an AP class if you want an easy A. Plus, if you are interested and dedicated to the subject you tend to have a better grade (sometimes… or hopefully, you won’t care :P). Plus, colleges will see right through it.

AP Human Geo is a joke. Some colleges don’t even consider it an AP class. I’ve heard AP Government is really boring, but pretty easy. I took a class last year taught by the AP Econ teacher. From what I heard from him, it involves common sense, pattern recognition, and a little math. Depending on where your strengths are, any one of them could be the ‘easiest’. Smallest workload depends on the teacher and your school.

If I were you, I would take AP Gov and Econ, since they seem the most interesting and practical. But that’s just me. If you are more interested in sociology, anthropology, etc., human geo might be the thing for you. Do what you’re interested in. Or if you are still interested in taking the easiest one, talk to people who have taken those classes at your school.
