I don't have any experience with any other textboox so i can't compare it to others, but it seems pretty good to me. After using the textbook all year i feel pretty prepared for the test. I skimmed through the barrons review, and i already knew everything in it, so it seems that the barrons perfectly compliments the text book. I recommend it.

It's excellent. I took AP Human Geography in 9th grade, read the Rubenstein book while watching CNN, slept during class, and got a 5 on the exam. And it was the first year it was offered at my HS, so it's not like the teacher was really good or anything. I attribute the 5 mainly to how easy the book was to read... it was almost fun--and I don't find reading fun at all.

I didn't even have to review at all... Rubenstein prepares you perfectly for the test... I felt like I knew every answer on the MC (except one or two questions about Canada =-).

O_O thanks guys, you're so helpful!
but wait..8th or 9th edition?
