AP Human Geography

is anyone else way way behind studying for HuG?
and if u are what r u going to focus on studying? like a particular part of it?

and for those that have taken the Ap Human geography exam last yr. or yrs before...was it hard? and how much did u study for it?

well no replies...im using barrons but is that enough
how do u guys memorize all the vocab!? theres soooo much

yes, turn yourself into a computer. You may think that i'm joking, but I'm not. Know the vocab and memorize everything. I self-studied last year and got a 5.

this exam is seriously a joke. took it last year and everyone at my school got either a 4 or 5

did u study a lot though?

the only thing im going to be using the review book for is the glossary of terms at the end of each chapter...

is Hug hard? can any of you (without wasting too much of your own time) tell me what kind of material you guys cover? i'm signed up for it next year, and it's the first year our school offers it, so i feel like a guinea pig and i'm very curious about the class. thanks.

I've just finished reading Barrons, good luck people. Hope you all get a 4 or 5.

Obrien- HuG is not hard. just make sure you get a review book to study before the exam.

good luck on tomorrows exam everyone!

Ah crud. I have one day to study for it. asdkfjald im so screwed =S

I am studying for it as well right now. Good luck everyone!

anyone know what guild industries are?
also whats the difference between gross and ubiquitous?

Moonstar, don't worry about in-depth terms like that (although they may be helpful to throw into the essays, you can easily do without them)

I take the Geo test in ~11 hours... going to start reading/cramming Barrons soon...

oh ok thanks...good luck

My sophomore friend said that you only really have to know the vocab words in that book and brush up on current events. I hope she's right because that's basically all I'm studying.

By the way, can anyone give a general idea of the curve on this test? I heard that to get a 5 on a AP test, you generally need 60-65% right. Does this apply to Human Geography, too?

well i have the 2001 released exam and a 70/120 is a 5

Wow, thanks! Makes me feel a lot better :)

how do u study for current events? cuz theres a lot on there but barrons doesnt have much about it

moonstar - can't really do much other than maybe apply concepts from other examples and use it on the even the question is referrign to
