AP Human Geography

Who's taken it?

I am getting really, really worried about this. We're reading the book by Blij and Murphy, and it's doubtful we'll finish. So, for those who have taken the test, what should I do? Should I just say screw this book and read out of Barrons? It seems, however, that the Barron's book is just filled with definitions, while the Blij book has more application and examples. How is the test?

Just say screw it and do nothing. That test was a joke.

yep.. its one of the easy APs..
my friend read the book the day b4 and got a 3 (all he needed for his college)

Haha, I have heard this a lot; perhaps I should be concerned about my other AP's. Is the test basically reading maps and crap like that?

Anyhow, it was because I went to this site that I got worried: http://teacherweb.ftl.pinecrest.edu/snyderd/APHG/

This guy must be crazy.. He makes the subject seem really hard -- he thinks it should be a year long class.

if u found AP World and AP Govt a joke, AP Human Geography should be a piece of cake too!!

everyone said environmental science is a joke...it's not lol.
how are you supposed to know how many % of CO2 is produced by burning fossil fuels

less than 100%

wow, my school has a huge # of APs and ive never heard of this one. why HUMAN geography. as opposed to chipmunk geography or something?

It's how humans affect the envirnoment.

Strangely, this is one of the few AP's my school offers.

Try getting the Barron's book and see if it helps

Yeah.. I have it. I'm just going to read through this and skim the textbook.
