Hello everyone, I am currently a junior, wondering which APs I should take this year that I could use to apply to colleges. While I was looking at some, one particular college that I wanted to go to required that I have a literature or humanities AP. For literature, I only would have the option of English Lit (which I do not attempt to do), but for humanities I am not so sure which AP corresponds to that category… Would it ONLY be Human Geography? Are other APs in the social studies category be part of humanities? Help!
You should be able to choose History (U.S., World, European), Human Geography, Art History, Music Theory, or Studio Art
AP Art History is personally my favorite Humanities AP course. It vastly expanded my knowledge of history, geography, and especially culture through the world. I would highly recommend AP World History before Art History though.
Oh the histories were part of the humanities? That would be great! I have taken World History last year so I guess I’m ready
