Ok, this has been causing me to worry in the back of my head for the entire day today. When I filled in the UCD app, I skipped the section for reporting AP exam scores because I didn't think it was important since I got a 1 on the Calculus AP exam and 2 on the Government AP exam.

Fast forward to today, I logged in to myadmissions to accept the Statement of Intent to Register and noticed several tasks that I am supposed to complete and there it is: AP/IB Exam Results. So I clicked on the link and the first thing it says is that "Your UC Davis conditions of admission require that you submit your official scores for the Advance Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma or exams to our Undergraduate Admissions office by January 31, 2010. If you have not submitted these scores, please contact the testing agencies and request that they be submitted to our office."

The conditions of admission must all be fulfilled otherwise they can withdraw my admission. So am I suppose to send my scores in even though I did not report them in my application? It would cost me 15 dollars for absolutely nothing since I cannot get college credits from them.

If you didn’t state your AP scores, then I believe you do not need to submit scores.

I believe that statement is a default message to every admit assuming they have AP scores to be sent in. Because being a transfer, you don’t need to submit AP scores or SAT scores. The AP scores need to be submitted if you’re using them in lieu of college credit at your CC.

yeah I listed AP scores too and sorta regret it, I’ve had to deal with a few headaches.
called and they’re looking up a record from 2005… got a 5 on my AP euro exam as a HS sophomore (which is incredible given that my HS class only had a 20% passing rate on the AP and I had one of the lower grades in the class)

but I kinda failed hardcore by Only bubbling in the first letter of my last name.
from hereon out, I am known as Christoph A
love how there’s not even enough room for my full first name…

and of course in HS I applied to the UCs… using the year 2004

@Azuzu This is NOT a freshmen board. We have no idea what to do when you get a freshman SIR. You should pose this question in a thread on Davis’ board.

Yo Empathy: What he’s asking doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a Freshman admit. In fact, due to the timing (assuming form the UCD Acceptance thread) he probably JUST got offered Admission. He could be a transfer.

called again… apparently my case slipped through…
this time I got a different guy. Have a case number recorded, an AP number down and I’ve been told that I’ll be receiving a phone call within the next few days to verify that this has been sorted out.

Fenris- thanks for the much needed answer. I feel relieved knowing that. Xelink- I think in your case it is worth the headache! You got a 5 which is great. And yes I am a transfer student, why else would I make a posty here? ;)
