AP/IB Tests and Courses

OK, so I have been accepted to CAS early decision and I am now debating which AP/IB tests I should actually put my time into

I have signed up to take:
AP Statistics
AP Biology
IB Math HL
IB Spanish HL

I think I will definitely take the Stats and Spanish, because they can actually place me out of classes.

The Math Penn gives no credit for and Biology is basically nothing.

But I am also worried I might do poorly on these. Do we even have to send our AP/IB scores to Penn? Do they expect them/for us to take all our tests?

Thanks in advance

Naw, you don’t have to send them.

That simple?

Pretty sure. You only need to send them if you want to attain credit. That is my understanding of the process, anyway. Someone who has gone through this should respond.

If you’ve been accepted you’re fine, you don’t have to send them. You’ll get credit for STAT111 if you do well on your stat exam. Good luck with APs!

You should send them. It’s free if you indicate it on your AP test, and there’s no risk in showing Penn the scores, you can’t get in trouble if you don’t do well. If you get 5s you’ll get credit, if not, you won’t get credit. But if you don’t send the scores right away and you do well then you’ll have to pay to send them later.
