AP incentives!

Does your school offer any incentives for passing the AP test.

My school gives me $300 for selected tests. Plus we only pay 8 bucks for the test to begin with.

If I pass all my tests this year I will get $900. :)

What school do you go to?!?!

***!!!

that is CRAZY. Especially in these hard economic times :p

Wow! Really which school do you go to? My school charged me a late registration fee.

I go to a school in Houston.

I go to school in Houston, but I have to pay $56 per test. I guess it is still better compared to others who have to pay even more than me.

I'm guessing you go to a private school?

lol I go to Sharpstown

I KNEW IT! i guessed you lived in texas or something haha

Wow, lucky. We have no incentives in NY, just a fee of $86 to pay.

I wish I went to your school...

You're lucky, I can only get like $30 off each my tests..I hate you for that reason, just kidding :D.

Man, my AP stat teacher told us he'd buy us a rice krispie treat if we took the ap test, haha. Lucky you!

We get out of the final...but I'd prefer the money xD

comp sci teacher "exempts" us from final
and we get food, courtesy of teachers
and we don't have to come back to school those days
but that's it

i wish i got money!

i get...nothing. Except an $86 fee. :(

5 exams= $430 in fees alone.... AP rates are crazy O.O

$86 fee.
No final exam unless mandated by the state.
No more class after the AP exam.

a passing grade :)

That really sucks that you guys have to pay for your exams. In my school, they're free as long as you registered/took that class (so it's not free if you want to take an exam for a class you didn't take)

In fact, if we don't sign up to take them, we have to pay a $12 fee (I think), and if we do sign up to take them and don't show up, then we do have to pay the $86 fee.

wow, your schools must not have many eager testers and/or passing grades. that's a generous offer even if not, since last time i checked collegeboard doesn't cut the price that much just for the schools, or much less offer to pay for them, so the schools are paying for it
