AP indep study

AP Enviro and/or AP Bio...is either doable for an independent study, given sufficient work?

That’s what I’ve been told (and am planning on doing).

My biology teacher was HORRIBLE (he would go so off topic, say the most illogical things, and, if you asked him a question, would never answer it but would say how you needed to study more or something), so I basically just ended up reading the textbook and some AP prep books for the AP test. It worked fine for me. (It’s not really that hard to get a 5.)

Both are availible for free on UCCP Open Access from the University of California. I have no idea about the quality of the courses, just thought I’d throw it out there.

Good Luck!

enviro is much earier than bio to independently study.

Yes, both are perfectly doable, if you put the work in. I studied both in a few months and got two 5s.

I mean, as far as I can assume, any of the APs would be doable if you put “sufficient” work in. :P

yes, i think so.

i ended up getting a four in biology, but i could have had a five if i would have worked a little harder.

my biology teacher mostly talked about how global warming wasnt true and how organic food was bad for you, but i did end up reading almost all of campbell and cliffs. if you read those and study them a little bit more than i did, you can get a five. and it will help if you dont get horrible essay topics like we did last year.

Ap environmental is much easier. That’s why at certain colleges they give you no credit for the class even if you score a 5.

Is AP Physics B doable independently while concurrently taking physics honors in school..physics honors will finish in half a semester…???

My school puts you automatically into C (with no physics background at all), so I’d assume yes.

Yes, I think so.
