AP issues

Hey guys,
So I've been seeing people with 8+ APs in their school career, but I have a special situation:

I'm attending a US high school, but I only transferred in my Junior year. Before that I was at an international school with no APs (I had exceptionally good scores in my old school). In addition, because I started applying late to my US school, and because I wasn't used to the system, I could only do one AP subject in my Junior year (APUSH). I'm trying to make up for that senior year with AP English, AP French, AP Biology, and Spanish V (there's no AP class at my school but I want to take the exam).

My question is, will 4 AP classes/5 AP exams cut it for highly selective schools (to be precise: Yale)?

Also, bonus question: Is AP Human Geography worth the hassle? It was a toss-up between Geography and Biology but I'm starting to get disillusioned with HuGeo.

Also, bonus BONUS question: How ironic is it that the only AP I could do as an international student was US History?
