i am wondering what i should do. I am currently a junior taking AP lang; the problem is, I am not so good at reading passages and answering questions. but the plus side is, i am a really good writer. so i don't know whether or not i should take the ap exam this may. i know i won't get a five on it. there is a very slim chance i will get a 4. in class, i always get 8o% of the questions wrong on the practice ap exams (from the petersons book). my teacher suggested that i take both the ap lang and ap lit test next year as a senior, when i am better at reading comprehension. is this a good idea? PLEASE HELP. by the way, i plan on taking ap exams in bio and us history. last year, i took ap euro and got a 5. so yeah...help!

i'd take the eng lang exam this year bc you are learning the material now. at least you guys get a choice, my school forces everyone to take the ap exam for every ap class they are in. get some prep books, cliffs ap is really good, and if you are a good writer then essays won't be a problem. make sure you learn rhetorical devices, tone vocabulary, and comprehension as that is what most of the reading passages concern. also, ask your teacher for prep books, i'm in the class this year and my teacher has many extra passages and questions for practice.

thanks for the advice

no prob.. PM me if you have anymore questions
