AP lang

what are the best books to use when studying for the ap lang test?

I need a good AP eng lang prep book too. I heard Cliffsnotes is good. But then other reviews say the FRQs essay formats are different or sth. :S

Do you take the class at school or do you self-study? The class i take is harder than any AP class i am taking:confused: and i wonder if it is me or is this class supposed to be hardest?

princeton review has one i think

@bakina. I’m self studying. Sorry I don’t know much about the AP eng lang class. I don’t know what you mean by ‘the hardest’. Do you mean its the hardest AP class you’ve taken???

I don’t know what you mean by ‘the hardest’. Do you mean its the hardest AP class you’ve taken???
yes! like in a class of 30 students, (two periods combined) nobody has an A or a B, so many kids are dropping it, but i am not sure whether i should do the same then self-study for the test in May:( because the teacher is supposedly to be the “best” in the district!

Well, does it show on your transcript if you drop the class?

I don’t take AP englang, but I don’t hear other people who do take it complaining. Maybe your teacher has really high expectations. Perhaps you could talk to your counselar about it???

yes, it will show on my transcript if i drop it. I joined a study group and i think it is helping.
Thanks for your advice and for writting back
