AP Language

I am in English 2 and I was wondering how important it is when it comes to AP Language. I am a straight A student, and so no matter what I'm not just going to bomb the class, but I want to know if I should try extra hard in this course because it will help me next year. Or if it is not that important when it comes to excelling in AP Lang.

My English II class was just grammar and reading. AP Lang is basically just essays.

This^^^
We have AP mondays, random in class essay once a week, no prep time

Honestly, after you get into the swing of things, you can do well, I got a c on my first in class, and now I’m right at the border of an A

^^This and ^this.

Seriously. All I’ve done in AP Lang is analyze prose and write essays. Oh wait. And read books that we write essays about…

I took AP Language junior year and we did absolutely nothing in that class. If you want relevant input, ask people who have actually taken the course at your school.
