Hi guys. I’m a sophomore in high school who is signed up to take AP Latin this year. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that I’m as well prepared for the test as the other students in my class are. I have a great teacher, and I’ve taken Latin since elementary school, but I just feel that in terms of the advanced vocabulary (especially verbs) and grammatical constructions I’ve encountered in De Bello Gallico so far, I’m not up to speed. I’ll do anything I need to do to prepare myself because I’m a perfectionist by nature and want to score well on the exam. What are some ways I can familiarize myself with the grammar and vocab before the AP exam in the spring? Thanks a ton!
How many levels of Latin is at your school? Maybe you should wait to take the AP level junior or senior year.
