<p>Well, since my new school is pretty small now, AP Bio is at the same time as AP Lang, and there are no other periods for it. In such case, I asked for a schedule change to see what was possible, they put in AP Lit. Should I keep it, or change it? I mean, how much of AP Lang do you need for AP Lit? Would AP Lit help me for SAT II and/or AP Lang? </p>

<p>It doesn’t matter at all what order you take them in. My teacher recommended taking lit before lang in fact, but that was just her preference. We ended up having to take lang before lit anyways because of a scheduling conflict.</p>

<p>My school does AP Lang before AP Lit. Juniors HAVE to take Lang and Seniors HAVE to take Lit if they’re taking AP english.</p>
<p>They just see lit as a harder course with more reading.</p>
