Could someone tell me how AS / AD graphs relate to the AE graphs?

If "AE" stands for aggregate equilibrium (as AS means aggregate supply, and AD, aggregate demand), then it is your simple S&D curve, and the equilibrium point is the AE point. Did that answer your question?

Whenever AE shifts up or down, AD shifts as well becuase the components of AD are what make GDP and AE is total spending in an economy.

aggregate demand= C+G+I+NX=GDP
aggregate expenditure= C+G+I+NX no?
since GDP is the total amount of money spent in an economy?

AD: total amount population is able and willing to buy.
AE (Expenditure not equilibrium): total amount population actually spends, i.e. without savings included.

Ok, so when AE increases, the AD increases on the AD/AS graph. When AE decrease, the AD decreases on the AD/AS graph. And vise versa for the increase/decrease in AD?
And also, the long run AS curve is vertical?

Nevermind, I think I get it now.
AD is the total demand of the economy, while the AE is the actual spending on the products.

I am self-studying for both! (kill me now, thanks!)

My econ class at school is for slackers... we learn NOTHING! It's mostly a finance class, anyway.

Hahahahahahaha
(terrified laughter)

Well, people said PR and Barrons are the best for different sections..

So hopefully reading them both and doing the practice tests will get me a 5.

I AM SO GLAD THE TEST REVIEW IS SOOOOO SHORT..

omg after stressing over the length of bio.. these are my, "treat" ap's..
Like comparative government was for me last year. They have a short ammount of material you have to cover in comparison, and you leave the AP madness weeks feeling really good.

Wewt Mac/Mic AP tests 12/13 for me!!

On my very last AP test I ever take, which would be chem next year #19.. I'm going to write a short note to the answer grader and thank them for all the stress they have brought onto my life.. and how much I love college board, cough... uhh not.. but I am going to write my very last essay of AP tests with something sweet.. like the lyrics to a song or a cartoon.. or a humorous story.
