<p>Are AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics difficult examinations? My school is a pretty good school, ranked one of the top public high schools in Massachusetts by Boston magazine, but we have a fairly limited AP program. We don't offer econ classes but it has always been an interest of mine and I intend on majoring in Econ / Business. Would it be out of the question to take the exam without having taken the course (given that I buy a prep book for each of the classes)? Thanks.</p>
