AP Music Theory Curve? (AKA did I fail?)

Hey
I just took the AP Music Theory exam and I was wondering if anyone else who's taken it knows what the approximate curve typically is.
Like, what percentage for a 5? for a 4? for a 3? 2? 1?

I don't think I did very well so I was just wondering how fail my test was. I'm not feeling too good about it unfortunately.
Thanks! =P

If it makes you feel better we had a change of band directors midyear in our class and the new director…well, he was a busy guy who didn’t like teaching theory. If I hadn’t done so much theory/ear training on my own I would have been completely unprepared for this test.
Anyway the point to this is that the other kids in my class who were cheated out of an entire course will at least help lower the curve…

I’ve heard the approximate curve is 65%+ for a 5, but this is one of the rarer tests so I honestly am not sure.

Holy crap, I thought that test would be easy today but it was actually really hard… I feel kinda iffy on all the parts, but I’m hoping the curve is pretty big because I’m gonna need it. The Barron’s book helped a lot though.

I thought this year’s MC was easier than the three practice ones that I took. Plus the pieces are so awsome this year.

Pretty much everyone fails the melodic and harmonic dictation so don’t worry about them.

Speaking of which…anyone know what that tribal piece was? Anyone?!

Find out plz and pm me.

Do you remember the lyrics at all? or at least what they sounded like kinda? maybe we can do a google search…

lol, the lyrics were like:

himuuuu najiiiii munahhhhhhhh

bahahaha. I thought the test was pretty easy. We’ll see what happens!

Oh. Haha I don’t really feel like thinking about the test right now (at least I’m trying not to). I have perfect pitch but melodic dictation and MC was FAIL. That curve had better be good!
